Feldman's Heisman Top 5: As OU rises, so does Mayfield's stock

For the first time all season, Leonard Fournette has been pushed out of the Heisman Top 5 as Baker Mayfield storms into the top three after another stellar showing leading OU to a big win at Baylor.

1. Derrick Henry, Alabama RB: The huge 242-pounder again displayed his terrific speed, outrunning the Mississippi State D on several occasions en route to a 200-yard game.

2. Deshaun Watson, Clemson QB: For the second week in a row, Watson has run for over 100 yards and this time he went 34 of 47 for 360 yards at Syracuse for the No. 1 team.

3. Baker Mayfield, Oklahoma QB: Baker Football has sparked the Sooners back into the playoff picture with a superb performance, going 24 of 34 for 270 yards along with 76 yards rushing and four total TDs. On the season he has a 31-5 touchdown-interception ratio.

4. Christian McCaffrey, Stanford RB/KR: Once again, the speedy sophomore had a terrific game, going for 147 yards rushing and five catches in a loss against an explosive Oregon team.

5. Ezekiel Elliott, Ohio State RB: Mr. Consistent has run for over 100 yards in every game. This time it was 181 yards and two TDs in a 28-3 win at Illinois. I almost had Dalvin Cook in here, but opted for Elliott, who will have a good chance to rise in the next few weeks as the Buckeyes’ schedule finally heats up.
