On Monday, he narrowed his list down to five schools -- in order of his preference.
Listed first was Georgia, followed by Alabama, LSU, Notre Dame, and Auburn. The Alabama native has long considered the Bulldogs -- and his interest in the school may be punctuated even further by the hiring of Kirby Smart as Georgia's head coach. He had a preexisting relationship from when he was the defensive coordinator at Alabama, and this surely will translate over to Athens.
At 6'4", 236 pounds, Davis is a physical specimen seen rarely on the collegiate level. He's versatile enough to fit in both a 3-4 and 4-3 scheme, and has the athleticism to impact early in his career.
Landing Davis would be a massive coup for any of the schools -- particularly for Smart in the early portion of his tenure at Georgia.
