On Friday, elite 2016 defensive tackle Rashard Lawrence opted to stay in the Pelican State -- choosing hometown LSU over Ohio State.
I can already hear "Calling Baton Rouge" playing in Death Valley. THANK YOU GOD. I LOVE YOU pic.twitter.com/ozwomT6BCF

The consensus 4-star athlete falls in the long line of uber-talented 2016 prospects choosing to play their college ball for Les Miles and the Tigers.
Lawrence is a powerful and naturally strong individual. He uses his hands exceptionally well at the point of attack -- which also includes utilizing short-area quickness to burst into the backfield with regularity.
Without question, Lawrence is a significant pickup, and is a potential candidate to take over once Davon Godchaux graduates/leaves early for the 2017 NFL Draft.
