Eldridge Massington has potential, opportunity for a big 2015 season
It wasn't long ago UCLA made a big coup in getting Eldridge Massington, who initially committed to USC. But the former four-star recruit was slowed down by a torn ACL his senior season in high school. He redshirted two years ago, and as a redshirt freshman last year he saw modest time on the field.
But the stars have aligned for Massington, according to Bleacher Report's Jason Fray, who lists three former top recruits who will finally produce in 2015. And Massington is among them.
"Although a busy knee brace limited his mobility to an extent, he began to flash his immense ability," writes Fray. "Now a redshirt sophomore, he should be fully recovered from the injury. Devin Lucien's sudden transfer opens up the possibility for Massington to be the third starting receiver next to Devin Fuller and Jordan Payton. He should be able to improve upon his numbers from a year ago."
