Ducks led nation in 2014 revenue

According to a report by USA Today, the Oregon Ducks' athletic department led the nation in revenue in 2014.

The Ducks have one of the most accomplished athletic departments in the nation and also have some of the biggest donors in the country (cough, cough Phil Knight).

Oregon brought in $196M in athletic related revenue in 2014, outpacing second place Texas by about $35M.

Most of Oregon's revenue comes from donations and athletic gifts, including the new football facility, which is listed at a cost, or gain for Oregon, of $95M.

The Oregonian's Andrew Greif had a great breakdown of the athletic department revenue and how it is calculated.
