Devine Redding made Indiana history in Pinstripe Bowl

Devine Redding certainly made the most of his chance for Indiana this season, and he helped make Hoosiers history in the process.

The sophomore from Ohio started the Pinstripe Bowl in place of the injured Jordan Howard and ran for 227 yards.

That set an Indiana bowl game record and left him with 1,012 yards on the season.

With Howard picking up 1,213 yards in just nine games, Indiana finished with a pair of 1,000-yard rushers for the first time in school history.

The duo had an impressive season replacing Tevin Coleman, who was an All-American in 2014 when he ran for 2,036 yards.

Coleman skipped his senior season to enter the NFL draft, something Howard could do as well.

No announcement of his intentions has been made, but the Hoosiers running game should be in good hands next season regardless.
