David Ash on Texas career cut short: 'I'm not a victim, I'm a victor'
Texas quarterback David Ash met with the media on Monday after announcing last week that he was giving up football for good.
Ash has suffered at least one concussion and battled "concussion symptoms" multiple times over the last year.
After consulting with doctors, he decided it was too big of a risk to keep playing football.
Before he moves on from his career, though, he wanted to say a few words.
"I'm not a victim, I'm a victor," Ash said regarding his college career that has been cut short.
Here are some Tweets from Ash's press conference that capture his comments.
