Cowboys pick up 2016 RB commitment

Oklahoma State added a running back to its 2016 recruiting class who was injured a good portion of last season.

La'Darren Brown, a 5-foot-10, 170-pound running back from DeSoto (Texas) High orally committed to play for OSU.

Brown missed most of last season, his junior year, with a dislocated elbow, but that didn't stop him from getting a lot of recruiting looks. He ran a 4.43 40-yard dash at the Alabama football camp, according to scout.com. He ran better than 4.4 at the OSU camp this summer, too.

Scout says Brown has offers from Arizona State, Oregon State, SMU and Louisville.

"I really liked the facilities," Brown told GoPokes.com. "The fields are beautiful and the indoor is really nice. I liked it all."
