Cook explains how he feels in late-game situations

How does Connor Cook excel in two-minute drives?

"It's almost like you black out," the Michigan State quarterback told SiriusXM radio via the Detroit Free Press. "(It's) almost like you're in a dream. It's surreal."

The Spartan signal caller also endorsed a large group of receivers ready to step up this fall -- Aaron Burbridge, Tres Barksdale, R.J. Shelton, AJ Troup, Macgarrett Kings Jr. and Monty Madaris -- with the team's top two targets from 2014 having moved on to the NFL and said he is looking forward to getting another shot at Oregon.

The Ducks rallied from a nine-point deficit in the third quarter to beat the Spartans 46-27 last season, and they travel to East Lansing on Sept. 12.
