Coleman's monster day blows up West Virginia and breaks Baylor record

Baylor wide receiver Corey Coleman needed only one half into the Bears' sixth game of the season to become the school's all-time single-season leader for touchdown catches.

His two touchdown grabs in the first half of Saturday's 62-38 win over West Virginia were Nos. 14 and 15 on the year, pushing him past Tennessee Titans receiver Kendall Wright's record of 14 set in 2011. Coleman added touchdown No. 16 of the season in the third quarter with a 33-yard scoring reception from Baylor quarterback Seth Russell. Coleman finished with 10 catches for 199 yards to help move the Bears to 6-0 and 3-0 in the Big 12.

The junior speedster's school record could soon hit the national radar with still half the season to play. Second in the Big 12 in receiving yards and first in touchdowns entering Saturday's game, Coleman eclipsed 100 receiving yards in the first half against West Virginia.
