Clemson Football vs Troy: Official Injury Report
The Clemson football team will host Troy on Saturday to open the home season. Here is the official injury report for the Tigers.
Injuries can make or break a season.
Each week, we will give you the injury report for Clemson football heading into the Saturday game they will play.
This can be the difference between a National Championship and a couple of losses.
With that being said, here is the official injury report for Clemson football heading into the Troy game.
There are no surprises here. Adrian Baker is still recovering from a torn ACL while Austin Bryant fractured his foot in practice a couple of weeks ago.
Baker is moving around, but will probably not make a return until much later in the season. The coaches hope to have him back in September, but I’m not so sure that will happen.
I think you’re probably looking at October-to-November for a timetable, but the good news is that cornerback Marcus Edmond has returned and is fully ready to go. That should provide some depth for Clemson in the secondary.
It seems that Bryant is nearing a return, but I’d expect the coaching staff to hold him until the Georgia Tech game and it very well may be the Louisville game before he comes back.
Overall, one of the biggest keys to a successful match-up against both Troy and S.C. State will be keeping everyone healthy.
If Clemson football can get out of these two games without suffering any more injuries, they will be in good shape heading into the ACC portion of the season.
