Clemson football commit Amari Rodgers eyeing visit to Southern Cal?

Clemson just lost a commitment from running back Cordarrian Richardson this weekend and now long time commit Amari Rodgers may take an official visit to another school.

Rodgers is currently practicing in Orlando, FL at the Under Armour All-American game. Here is what ESPN’s Erik McKinney had to say about Rodgers and a possible visit to USC:

Like McKinney said, Rodgers has been a vocal recruiter for Clemson, and he was probably influential in getting fellow offensive recruits Tee Higgins and Hunter Johnson to commit to the Tigers.

Presently, Rodgers hasn’t officially announced any plans to visit USC, but with a recent de-commitment almost fresh off the news wire. You can expect Clemson fans to become a little worried about any rumblings about the other 2017 commits.

But with a recent tweet like this from Rodgers, should Tiger fans be worried?

A visit to his dad’s school could be imminent, but could it change the mind of a kid who obviously loves Clemson. Stay tuned.
