Clemson center posts tribute to fellow linemen
It’s been a historic year for Clemson and one that center Jay Guillermo will not forget any time soon. Guillermo, whose struggles with alcoholism early in his college career have been well documented, posted a tribute to his fellow linemen after the Tigers fell 45-40 to Alabama in the national title game to finish the season 14-1.
Guillermo, a 6-3, 325-pound junior who was named an all-ACC second-team performer, tweeted a picture of his line mates with a caption that read: “I can't begin to describe how much this group of guys have done for me. I love you guys. #theunion #brothersforlife.”
