Cincinnati prep QB verbally commits to Hoosiers
Indiana picked up a prospect from one of the power programs in Cincinnati on Tuesday when Elder High School quarterback Peyton Ramsey announced he intends to wear the Crimson and Cream starting in 2016.
Proud to say that I have committed to further my football career at Indiana University ?⚪️ #Hoosiers

The 6-foot-3, 185-pound junior is the seventh-ranked quarterback in the Midwest and No. 3 in Ohio according to Scout.com.
He reportedly also had offers from the hometown Bearcats, Illinois, Wake Forest and Boston College but chose Indiana after making multiple visits to Bloomington recently.
"I went down for a junior day and a practice and was able to see what a practice was all about," Ramsey told Scout. "They do a lot of things similar to what we do at Elder as far as reading defenders and it gave me a chance to see how they coach the game. In the end I felt it was a good fit for me and my skill set.”
Ramsey threw for 2,062 yards and 13 touchdowns as the Panthers went 6-5 last season and lost in the first round of the Division I playoffs. He also ran for 908 yards, averaging 5.3 yards per carry.
