Cincinnati Football vs. #6 Houston: All The Info, Plus Prediction

TV info, scouting report, and COTP’s prediction for UC’s huge AAC season opener tonight against the #6 Houston Cougars.

The 2-0 Bearcats are coming off a road win at Purdue in which they intercepted five balls and had zero turnovers. Yep, you read that right. UC won a turnover battle five to zero. If that doesn;t make you a believer that they can upset #6 Houston, I’m not sure what will.

If you’d have asked me to predict this game last Friday, I’d have said Houston wins 37-17. No contest. But then the Bearcats went on the road to Purdue, played a clean game, won the turnover battle 5-0, and looked generally phenomenal (albeit against Purdue). This game is at Nippert Stadium on a Thursday night, and it’s going to be hard for me to pick against the Bearcats. My head says “don’t do it,” but I have to do it anyways. UC 31, Houston 28.
