Christian Jones is Northwestern's most important player in 2015
The Northwestern Wildcats offense has slowly but surely regressed over the past few seasons.
Last year a major bright spot for the team was freshman running back Justin Jackson who had the fourth highest yards per game average among freshman in the nation. The offense will be built around him but what about the other weapons?
The return of wide receiver Christian Jones makes him the most important player for the team this season. Pat Fitzgerald hasn’t settled on a quarterback yet but a weapon on the outside or in the slot will go a long way to helping the signal caller out. If Jones can keep teams from loading the box to stop Justin Jackson, the Wildcats could take steps in a positive direction this season offensively.
