Carl Nassib's name on another national award's finalist list

Penn State standout defensive end Carl Nassib is one of four players listed as finalists for the 2015 Lott IMPACT Trophy, which goes to a senior player who does outstanding things on and off the field. 

Other nominees are Duke safety Jeremy Cash, Temple linebacker Tyler Matakevich and Ohio State linebacker Joshua Perry. 

Nassib, who is also up for the Lombardi, Nagurski, Bednarik and Burlsworth awards, posted a Penn State-record 15.5 sacks this season while also forcing six fumbles. He leads the nation in those categories and is No. 1 in the Big Ten in tackles for loss with 19.5.
