Can LSU dip into the Northeast and snag OL prospect Williams?

At this point in the 2016 recruiting process, Washington D.C. native Jauan Williams is one of most hotly-pursued prospects left on the board from the offensive line position.

The 6'7", 303-pound 247Sports.com 4-star prospect is still considering the likes of Texas A&M, Maryland, LSU, Florida State, Oklahoma, Georgia, and Miami. Williams has taken official visits to College Station and Tallahassee -- with a trip to Baton Rouge set for this upcoming weekend.

Williams has every characteristic one would want in a standout tackle prospect. He's got long arms, an explosive punch, terrific lateral quickness, and solid athleticism. Assuming he fills out a bit strength-wise, Williams appears to have a very bright future ahead of himself.

In the case of LSU, it'd love to pair Williams with recent offensive line commitment Willie Allen. The talented duo could form to become a pair of bookend tackles for the Tigers for the next four-to-five years.
