Cal loses commitment from 4-star safety Shurod Thompson

Shurod Thompson, a 4-star safety from Brentwood Liberty High School, has announced (via Twitter) that he has de-committed from Cal.

The 6'1", 185 pound defensive back committed to Cal on April 18. 

Thompson was likely Cal's best incoming recruit and was ranked as the No. 5 safety in the country, according to 247 Sports.
