Cal is putting together a sneaky good recruiting class

After landing ESPN Top 300 safety Shurod Thompson on Saturday, the Bears look like they are on track on bring in their best recruiting class in years.

All in all, the Bears now have six commitments for the 2016 class, including two quarterbacks and ESPN Top 300 safety Marquel Dismuke.

With those six players already in the fold, Cal coach Sonny Dykes can set focus on the 2015 season and may be able to compete for a couple of other big time 2016 recruits.

Cal hasn't made much of a splash under Dykes, but the tide may be turning in Berkeley.
