Cal gets former Stanford recruit Nygel Edmonds to flip commitment
Three-star cornerback Nygel Edmonds committed to Stanford in April of 2015. However, Cal has flipped the defensive prospect from Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Edmonds flipped his commitment to the Bears on Tuesday, though he made no big announcement about the switch. He simply changed his twitter banner and his bio to read "University of California football commit."
Cal head coach Sonny Dykes sent out a tweet confirming the commitment of Edmonds on Tuesday morning.

Edmonds is the best cornerback in the state of Tennessee, per Scout.com. He is the No. 55 CB in the nation.
