BYU's Tanner Mangum featured as ESPN's 'College Hero'
Seems like it's straight out of Friday Night Lights. Tanner Mangum, a 22-year-old who was once a highly touted high school prospect, took over for all-world quarterback Taysom Hill. He played well, for the most part, and he ended his day with a Hail Mary buzzer-beater. It sounds like it was written in Hollywood.
ESPN took notice, as they're featuring Mangum as their 'College Hero' this week.
"It's been pretty crazy these past couple of days," Mangum said in the video. "It's definitely been a whirlwind, but I just keep reminding myself just to stay calm, you know what you have to do."
