Bronco Mendenhall lays out plan for building up Virginia football

Take what you want from coach speak, but Bronco Mendenhall's resume speaks for itself. The former BYU head coach won 99 games in 11 seasons as a Cougar, and he's filling a void at Virginia that desperately needed filling.

Rebuilding the Cavaliers may be a process, but Mendenhall is going to do it through your normal key principles: toughness, discipline and swagger.

"If the value of education is something that is the core of what and who we are, where else would you go, especially when you can consider your growth and opportunity and a challenge?" he said.

Mike London, Virginia's most recent head coach, went just 27-46 for the Cavaliers.
