Bowling Green shirts mock Big Ten after Falcons beat Purdue, Maryland
Bowling Green, a proud member of the Mid-American Conference, has beaten two Big Ten teams this season, and the folks at the Falcons' bookstore want to make sure no one forgets.
What better way to mark any historic event these days than a t-shirt, right?

Without a doubt the Falcons have earned the right to brag after they downed Maryland 48-27 on Sept. 12 then beat Purdue 35-28 last Saturday.
This is not the first season BGSU has knocked off two Big Ten teams in the same season, though. They also did so in 2003 when they beat Purdue and Northwestern.
Head coach Dino Babers can claim three Big Ten pelts in his one-plus season at the helm as the Falcons topped Indiana last season. They also lost to Wisconsin.
Bowling Green is 3-0 all-time against Purdue, having also beaten the Boilermakers in 1972 by a 17-14 margin.
