Baylor's revved-up rushing attack set to add another piston

As if Baylor's rushing attack, ranked No. 2 in the nation and averaging more than 350 yards a game, wasn't dangerous enough, running back Devin Chafin is set to return Saturday against West Virginia.

The junior hasn't played since Week 2 when he sustained a hamstring injury. Baylor coach Art Briles told ESPN 1660 in Waco on Thursday night that Chafin will make his return.

How Briles will use him will be intriguing to watch. Shock Linwood is well on his way to a second consecutive 1,000-yard season and leads the Big 12 by a wide margin, averaging 143.8 yards a game. Terence Williams and Johnny Jefferson both rank among the Big 12's top 10 rushers.

Chafin rushed for 383 yards and eight touchdowns in 2014, and was expected to be a key cog in Baylor's explosive offense this season. He's rushed for 106 yards on 19 carries.
