Badgers land two major four-star commitments
Saturday was a huge day for Wisconsin recruiting. Paul Chryst and his staff picked up two pledges from four-star recruits that should be big time players for the team.
Joining the 2016 class with verbal commitments was Bay Port offensive lineman Cole Van Lanen and St. Petersburg, Florida safety Craig Watts, who pledged to UW within hours of each other.
The Badgers 2016 class now sits 12 players and eight of the 12 have committed within the last three weeks. Critics of Chryst's ability to recruit have been silenced for now, but time will tell if this can become a special class for the Badgers.
