Auburn recreates 'Step Brothers' movie poster as recruiting pitch
When recruiting a prospect, a school wants to doing anything it can to "stick out" from the fellow competitors. This includes (in some cases) a relentless pursuit with bags and bags of personalized letters -- praising the recruit and detailing as to why they should attend the respective school.
In the case of Auburn recruiting graduate transfer Tyler Catalina, it got creative with the help of some pop culture.

Referencing the cult-classic film Step Brothers, Auburn's staff recreated a movie poster with the faces of Catalina and offensive line coach Herb Hand. Also a play on Catalina's surname (and an infamous scene from the film), the "Catalina O-Line Mixer" was prominently displayed at the top of the poster.
The Tigers are also utilizing a new tactic for the recruiting class of 2017 -- using the hashtag #AmbUsh17.
Without question, the Auburn social media and creative teams are working hard to attract the attention of top-level prospects.
