Auburn OL coach visits with top prospect Landon Dickerson
With the recruitment of Under Armour All-American offensive line prospect Landon Dickerson nearing an end, the North Carolina native is expected to select between Florida State, Tennessee, Auburn, Florida and Alabama by National Signing Day. The Tigers new offensive line coach Herb Hand attempted to make up for lost time this week by stopping in for an in-home visit with the 6-foot-5, 300-pound Dickerson.
While Hand was racing all over the country to see prospects, he made sure to end Wednesday with a trip to see the top offensive lineman still on the board for Auburn.

Following the visit, Dickerson revealed to Rivals it was his first meeting with Coach Hand and the visit went very well for the Tigers:
"Auburn is definitely still in it, especially after meeting with Coach Hand" Dickerson said. "That really helped. It was my first time meeting him, and he seems like a really good coach and a nice guy. We didn't talk much about football, but everything else. He seems like a really good guy."
Dickerson has less then two weeks to make his declaration before signing day and has said in the past he intends to announce his decision prior to the Feb. 3 deadline. As for the schools that are most likely to land his signature, Dickerson has three schools in mind:
"Some schools are ahead of the others," Dickerson said. "Tennessee, Florida State and Auburn are definitely ahead..."
Wherever he eventually lands, don't be surprised to see Dickerson anchor a college offensive line for years to come. His highlight tape features several "Blindside" type block on poor mismatched high school opponents:
