Arkansas Lands Big JUCO Tight End Jeremy Patton

Arkansas signed JUCO tight end, Jeremy Patton, today during the beginning of the midyear signing period.

Jeremy Patton, who has 2 years of eligibility left, is a big get for the Hogs. ESPN has him ranked 1st in position and as the 33rd ranked JUCO recruit in the country.

Patton is listed as 6-6, 236 lbs with a 40 yard dash time of 4.59. Fans can expect him to come in and immediately make an impact for the Razorback’s offense. Arkansas definitely needs the size and talent to replace some of the senior receivers they are losing this year.

The list of offers that Jeremy has earned is pretty telling of his talent. The list includes USC, Arizona, Arizona State, Houston, Iowa State, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, PITT, and Syracuse. His SEC options are Alabama, Auburn, Mississippi State, and South Carolina. He’s a big get.

Arkansas definitely needs the size and talent to replace some of the senior receivers they are losing this year. Keon Hatcher, Drew Morgan and tight end Jeremy Sprinkle are all seniors this year. If the Hogs are expecting any kind of success next season, they are gonna have to find fits for the void left behind when these guys leave.

Bret Bielema said in his Belk Bowl update, that he was expecting this to be his biggest midyear signing class. Follow us on twitter @RazorbackersFS for updates and we’ll keep you up to date during this signing period. Woo pig!
