Arizona State among programs with most NFL-caliber talent in 2015
Arizona State has lofty goals heading into the 2015 season, and for good reason.
The Sun Devils have more than several players who have NFL-caliber talent, according to NFL Network's Bucky Brooks.
In his top 25 list of programs heading into the 2015 season with the most NFL-caliber talent, Brooks lists Arizona State at No. 20. His players to watch are quarterback Mike Bercovici, cornerback Lloyd Carrington, running back D.J. Foster, center Nick Kelly, guard Vi Teofilo and guard Christian Westerman.
Here's what Brooks had to say about the Sun Devils' outlook heading into the season.
"The Sun Devils have returned to prominence under Todd Graham, and the program is back to churning out quality NFL talent at the skill positions," Brooks writes. "Foster is a spectacular change-of pace back with exceptional receiving skills. Although he is penciled in as a wide receiver for the Sun Devils, scouts are taking a long, hard look at the 5-10, 195-pound senior to see if he can fill a Shane Vareen-like role as a pro.
"Carrington is opening eyes as an intriguing cover corner with a versatile skill set. He could entice evaluators as a hybrid corner-safety at the next level."
Brooks also broke down the newscomers to watch this season. It's worth your time.
