Arizona QB Solomon out for Saturday's game vs. Arizona State

Arizona, which has been ravaged by injuries this season, is without star QB Anu Solomon Saturday at archrival Arizona State.

Solomon (18 TD passes, 4 interceptions) was not able to practice all week because of concussion issues. Senior Jerrard Randall, a more dynamic runner, got the start against the aggressive Sun Devils.

The 6-1, 195-pound Randall has completed 53 percent of his passes and has five TD passes and three INTs. He only completed one pass last week, but it was a 25-yard TD to beat No. 10 Utah in double overtime after Solomon sustained the concussion on a helmet-to-helmet hit in the fourth quarter.

The Cats, 6-5, have started 42 different players this season and have lost five middle linebackers this season due to injury.
