Another Kentucky QB announces transfer
For the second time this offseason, Kentucky's quarterback depth has taken a hit due to a player transferring out of the program. First it was junior Patrick Towles, this time it's redshirt freshman Reese Phillips who is transferring.
The last 3 years have meant everything to me. I've decided to transfer to keep playing. I will always love you #BBN pic.twitter.com/USQ47zLGKR

Phillips redshirted after suffering a preseason injury and did not play in 2015, but he did play in three games in 2014. Phillips was expected to compete with fellow redshirt freshman Drew Barker for the starting role in 2016.
With Phillips departure, Kentucky is down to one scholarship quarterback on the roster. Prospect Gunnar Hoak is currently the only quarterback committed to the Wildcats 2016 recruiting class.
