A&M continues to overtake the state as Aggie fans outdrew Texas in 2014

The SEC's expansion into the state of Texas continues to pay huge dividends for the Texas A&M program as the Aggies outdrew the Texas Longhorns for the first time in program history in 2014.

While the two programs cannot currently come to an agreement to meet on the field, the rivalry hasn't cooled off any in the meantime. Consider this yet another win for the Aggies' post-Big 12 era.

According to the NCAA's website, A&M averaged 105,123 fans per home game while the Longhorns averaged 94,103 fans in attendance per home game.

Texas A&M finished second in the nation with their attendance numbers, finishing second behind only Ohio State (106,296).

Kyle Field is currently under construction and is scheduled to be completed in time for the start of the upcoming season.
