Alabama, Ohio State early favorites in College Football Playoff matchups
The early odds are out on the College Football Playoff. One game is expected to be a mismatch and the other, a tight battle with the lower seed favored.
It is no surprise that the top-seeded Crimson Tide have opened as a double-digit favorite over fourth-seed Washington. Nick Saban and Alabama have been a machine in 2016.
On the other side, Ohio State is the No. 3 seed and is favored over second-seeded Clemson.
The Tigers, of course, are looking to make it to the title game again this season. If they were to match up with Alabama, it would give Clemson a chance for retribution after the 45-40 loss in last season's title game.
#Alabama has opened as a 14-point favorite vs #Washington & #OhioState is a 3-point fav over #Clemson according to @golfodds.
