Relive The CFP Title Game Watch Party

There's no spectacle quite like a championship event.

And while in-person capacity was limited as the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide take on the No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, there was plenty of room for stars (and you!) at FOX Sports' National Championship Watch Party.

Streaming across the @FOXSports and @CFBonFOX digital platforms, Monday night's Watch Party featured Joel Klatt and Reggie Bush breaking down the action, along with young superstars Joe Burrow, Jalen Hurts and others.

As Alabama built an early, insurmountable lead, Hurts described how his former teammate Mac Jones has grown, matured, and proved the doubters wrong.

Of course, being able to throw touchdown passes like this to DeVonta Smith doesn't hurt.

Then, it was time for Burrow to join the show.

The Heisman Trophy winner, national champion, and former Buckeye (before his time at LSU) spoke about the toughness, both mental and physical, it takes to don the scarlet and gray.

Just as importantly, he told the story everyone wanted to hear – how his famous victory cigar photo came to be.

Just over a year removed from their College Football Playoff experiences, Burrow and Hurts brought a unique perspective to the National Championship.

The two faced off in the 2019 Peach Bowl, where Burrow's LSU Tigers knocked off Hurts' Oklahoma Sooners en route to a 2020 title on Jan. 13.

Burrow, who spent three seasons at Ohio State before transferring to Baton Rouge, carried his success at the collegiate level to the pros, where he threw for over 2,600 yards, 13 touchdowns and five interceptions in 10 games with the Cincinnati Bengals before a torn ACL cut his rookie season short in Week 11.

Hurts himself made a big splash when he transferred from Alabama to Oklahoma following the Tide's 2018 national title run. Under Nick Saban's tutelage for three seasons, Hurts amassed 71 total touchdowns for the Tide before spending a season under Lincoln Riley in Oklahoma.

It was tough to find a more star-studded and experienced group with which to spend the evening watching Ohio State and Alabama square off.

Besides Hurts and Burrow, Penn State head coach James Franklin joined the show in the first half and spoke to what it takes to match up with this Ohio State team.

Penn State Nittany Lions head coach James Franklin joins the FOX CFB National Championship watch party. Hear how James thinks the Alabama Crimson Tide will be able to beat the Ohio State Buckeyes.

He also joked about what it's like to move from being a coordinator to a head coach and realizing how much your opposing coordinators overestimate how tricky you're trying to be.

Others stopping by included UNC head coach Mack Brown, Texas QB Sam Ehlinger, USC legend Matt Leinart, FOX Sports CFB reporter RJ Young, and Wisconsin QB Graham Mertz, who told the real story about how he broke the Mayo Bowl trophy earlier this bowl season.

And that's before we even get to Klatt, a CFB on FOX broadcast extraordinaire, and Bush, a two-time National Champion with USC.

It was an insightful, fun, star-studded affair. Relive the whole event right here.
