Wisconsin's Ryan agrees to extension

Wisconsin men's basketball coach Bo Ryan has received a one-year contract extension and women's basketball coach Lisa Stone received a two-year extension.

Men's hockey coach Mike Eaves' also received a one-year extension Friday.

Athletic department spokesman Justin Doherty said the athletic board decided to extend Ryan's rolling contract through May 2016. Doherty said financial terms were not finalized.

Ryan has been working under a contract that guarantees him more than $1.25 million per year. The Badgers finished 24-9 this past season, losing in the second round of the NCAA tournament to Cornell. They are 217-82 in Ryan's nine seasons as coach.
