Wear misses game with skin infection on foot

UCLA forward Travis Wear missed Wednesday's game against Eastern Washington while hospitalized with a skin infection on his left foot.

School officials indicated that Wear was admitted to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center Tuesday night. He was given antibiotics and is expected to be released from the hospital on Thursday.

He is listed as day to day.

The 6-foot-10 redshirt sophomore is in his first season with the Bruins since transferring from North Carolina along with twin brother David.

Wear is averaging 10.6 points and 5.1 rebounds.
