WATCH: UMass Lowell forward shatter backboard on dunk attempt

UMass Lowell's game against Division III Wheelock College was delayed for about an hour on Tuesday after UML's freshman forward Dontavious Smith shattered the backboard on a dunk attempt.

The play happened with 1:51 remaining in the first half. The River Hawks would go on to win 104-76. Smith finished with 14 points off the bench.
