WATCH: Kris Dunn flirts with a quadruple-double in Providence's win over NJIT
Providence stayed perfect on the season with an 83-76 win over NJIT on Monday night at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence.
With 9:01 remaining in the second half, Kris Dunn needed only one rebound, three assists and three steals in order to record a quadruple-double. He finished with 22 points, 10 rebounds, nine assists (one turnover) and seven steals.
According to Matt Norlander of CBS Sports, it would have been the first quadruple-double vs. a Division I opponent in NCAA history.
Next up for the Friars is Evansville, one of the top mid-major teams this season. Providence takes on the Purple Aces on Thanksgiving night in the quarterfinals of the Wooden Legacy in Anaheim.
