Villanova announces addition of transfer Paschall to hoop roster

Villanova has formally announced the transfer of 6-foot-6 forward Eric Paschall, the Atlantic 10 Conference rookie of the year last season while at Fordham, to its basketball program.

 Paschall averaged 15.9 points and 5.5 rebounds in 2014-15 for the Rams, who finished 10-21 and saw head coach Tom Pecora fired after five seasons.

 “We’re really excited to add a player of Eric’s caliber to our basketball family,” Villanova coach Jay Wright told the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Paschall will have to sit out 2015-16 due to transfer rules, but will have three years of eligibility remianing after that.
