Troy Daniels scored 15 points - all on 3-pointers - and Virginia Commonwealth defeated Georgia State 59-58 to snap the Panthers' 10-game home winning streak.

The win also avenged a 55-53 loss to the Panthers on Jan. 4 that ended an eight-game VCU winning streak.

The Rams broke open a close game with a 13-2 run for a 44-33 lead after a 3-pointer by Daniels with 8:25 remaining.

Georgia State outscored VCU 8-1 in the final 39 seconds with Josh Micheaux hitting a 3-pointer with 1 second to go.

Juvonte Reddic added 11 points and 10 rebounds, and Darius Theus scored 10 points for the Rams (18-5, 9-2 Colonial Athletic Association), who have won seven games in a row.

Jihad Ali scored 18 points on 7-of-15 shooting, Micheaux added 14 and Devonta White had 12 for the Panthers (14-8, 6-5), who have lost four of their past five games.
