UNC Wilmington rolls to 107-87 win over Drexel (Jan 02, 2018)

WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) Jordon Talley had a season-high 24 points with six assists, Devontae Cacok notched his 10th double-double of the season and UNC Wilmington rolled to a 107-87 victory over Drexel on Tuesday night.

Cacok finished with 23 points and 16 rebounds for the Seahawks (4-10, 1-1 Colonial Athletic Association), while Jaylen Fornes added a career-high 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting. Jeffrey Gary scored 11 and Marcus Bryan chipped in with nine points and nine rebounds for UNC Wilmington, which won the battle of the boards 43-24.

Kurk Lee led the Dragons (6-9, 0-2) with 22 points, while Troy Harper scored 21.

Drexel led 4-0 early, but Talley's 3-pointer sparked a 12-2 run and the Seahawks never trailed again. UNC Wilmington led 57-40 by intermission and quickly pushed its lead to 20 on Fornes' 3-pointer early in the second half. The Seahawks shot 59 percent from the floor.
