UConn lands Seton Hall graduate transfer Sterling Gibbs
UConn has added another solid player to help reload after missing the NCAA Tournament this past season.
Former Seton Hall guard Sterling Gibbs has decided to transfer to UConn, he announced via Twitter on Saturday afternoon.
Gibbs, who led the Pirates in scoring a year ago, was previously reported to be set on UConn before changing his mind and entertaining more visits. But those qualms have been silenced now, and he should make for a nice backcourt replacement for Ryan Boatright.
