Justin Wright scored five of his 13 points during a clinching run to lead Troy over Southern Utah 80-72 on Tuesday night.

The Trojans (5-5) led 67-65 with 3:12 left before scoring six straight as part of an 11-2 run. The spurt was capped by a pair of Emil Jones free throws with 10 seconds remaining.

Ray Chambers added 12 points and Steven Cunningham 10 for Troy, which snapped a two-game losing streak.

It was Troy's second win over Southern Utah this season. The Trojans defeated the Thunderbirds 80-76 on the road on Nov. 26.

Troy led 36-33 at halftime before shooting 50 percent from the field (16 of 32) in the second half.

Ramell Taylor scored 21 points and Matt Massey 20 to lead the Thunderbirds (4-6). Jackson Stevenett added 16 for Southern Utah, which turned it over 14 times, compared to seven by Troy.
