Toledo 80, Indiana-Northwest 44
Freshman forward Delino Dear scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for his first career double-double as Toledo defeated Indiana Northwest 80-44 on Tuesday night.
The win was the third straight for the Rockets (3-9), who led throughout against the RedHawks (1-13), an NAIA opponent.
Ahead 44-31 with 18:40 remaining, Toledo broke the game open with an 18-0 run over the next 4:41 to take a 62-31 lead.
The Rockets shot 50.9 percent (29 of 57) to 25.9 percent (15 of 58) for Indiana Northwest, outrebounded the RedHawks 50-32 and outscored them 36-14 in the paint.
Justin Anyijong scored 14 points for Toledo and Jay Shunnar added 10. Malcolm Griffin had nine points and nine assists and Reese Holliday had 10 rebounds.
Adam White scored 18 points to lead Indiana Northwest, making 6 of 15 3-point shots.
