Texas suspends F Wangmene indefinitely

Texas has suspended reserve forward Alexis Wangmene for violating team rules.

Coach Rick Barnes announced the move about 30 minutes before the fifth-ranked Longhorns played Iowa State on Tuesday night.

Barnes said Wangmene was suspended indefinitely for an unspecified violation of team rules.

Wangmene, 6-foot-7 junior, averages 2.4 points and played in every game this season for the Longhorns, who are in first place in the Big 12.
