Texas A&M-Green Bay game starts in front of empty arena

The NCAA is having a hard time getting fans into arenas for games so far this tournament season, despite the fact that, well, that's the one thing they should be really be focusing on doing.

There were problems in Denver Thursday...

And then, Friday, the same problem showed up in Oklahoma City.

That led to no fans being in attendance at the beginning of the Green Bay-Texas A&M game.

The issue seems to be that the NCAA isn't leaving enough time between games, which leaves a bottleneck at gate security.

It also leaves strange sights like the National Anthem being sung without any fans in the crowd.

Eventually, the fans were let in, but still, there's no excuse for mismanagement like this -- you're not paying the athletes, NCAA, the least you could do is pay for competent people to run this show.
