St. John's freshman Kassoum Yakwe actually kisses the rim
St. John's is excited about Kassoum Yakwe's potential.
The 6-foot-7 forward is averaging 2.4 blocks in 20.5 minutes per game this season. Yakwe, a former four-star recruit, is able to send back so many shots with a leaping ability like this:

That video was tweeted out Wednesday by fellow freshman rim protector Yankuba Sima, a 6-foot-11 center who is top-5 in the nation in blocked shots. However, he has missed the past three games with a broken bone in his left hand.
Yakwe has been inserted into the starting lineup with Sima on the sideline. On the season, he's averaging 5.8 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.
Yakwe and the Red Storm look to end a nine-game losing streak when they host Marquette on Saturday night.
