Seton Hall names Tony Skinn assistant basketball coach

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. (AP) Seton Hall has hired Tony Skinn as an assistant basketball coach.

Coach Kevin Willard announced the hiring Thursday. Skinn replaces Shaheen Holloway, who left to become the head coach at nearby St. Peter's University.

Skinn spent the past three seasons as an assistant coach at Louisiana Tech. Prior to his tenure there, he served as the director of athletics at the Paul International High School in Washington, D.C., and was an assistant coach for NIKE Team Takeover, one of the top AAU programs in the country.

A native of Nigeria, Skinn was a member of the George Mason team that went to the Final Four in 2006. He played professionally in Europe.
