Sanders, Blake lead Idaho past North Dakota 96-71 (Jan 27, 2018)

MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) Victor Sanders scored 26 points, Brayon Blake added 24 and Idaho rolled to a 96-71 victory over North Dakota on Saturday night.

Idaho (14-7, 6-3 Big Sky Conference) rebounded from a 17-point loss to Northern Colorado on Thursday to keep pace with Eastern Washington, who beat the Bears 67-65 Saturday. The Vandals and EWU remain a half-game back of second-place Weber State in the conference standings.

Sanders was 7-of-12 shooting and made all 10 of his free throws, and moved to second all-time in scoring for the Vandals with 1,635 points. He trails Orlando Lightfoot, who scored 2,102 points from 1991-94. Blake was 9 of 13 from the floor and grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds.

Dale Jones had 24 points to lead North Dakota (7-14, 2-7). Cortez Seales and Tray Buchanan chipped in 10 apiece.
